Wow, I just read the other review about the discrimination against service dogs and I 100% had this experience. I was blasted right when walking through the door by the largest fella. His name was Matthew. He first yelled at me that dogs arent welcome. I told him hes a service dog. Then he shouted whats your disability? Excuse me? #1 You do not shout at a customer, #2 I shouldnt be announcing my disability to the entire store. Learn some ADA standards. This not a friendly Goodwill, service members and others with disabilities avoid this location.

While I was in town for a retreat, I wanted to stop and get something affordable that I can remember my trip by and I was greeted not what the hell but a negative employee. I had my service dog and they asked me some questions and I did not feel like I was welcomed. There was another person who came in ahead of me who also had a dog. It was not geared with service or anything, but the person was in a wheelchair. They asked that person nothing my dog very small 8 pounds and he was dressed in his service dog gear with all of his things on him, and they stopped me right away. I proceeded to continue to shock, and I was addressed with a snotty manager who accused me of just having a pet. I was highly disgusted with this manager, who assumed that I would put my pet in a service dog outfit just because. I don’t take what she said lightly at all, people don’t understand what you have to go through to get your dog certified as an official service dog. Then she also tried to say that it’s just an an emotional support animal mind you my dog did not even have those words listed on him. He had on his service dog bright red vest and he was leashed properly with visual of all his up-to-date tags and his service dog tag he did not bark. He did not budge. He did not do anything, but service me in my private needs, you wouldn’t have known he was there at all. He was so well-behaved as he is every day and every store that he enters his main focus is on me as he was trained for. So for her to dull it down like my dog is nothing more than just a pet was not only humiliating and frustrating but totally disrespectful. I will never go back to this Goodwill ever and I don’t recommend it at all. The manager needs to have some type of consequences behind her actions. She was very rude and when she walked away, she rebuttal something underneath her breath. I believe if I was white, this wouldn’t have never happened because the person that was in front of me with a dog that did not have service dog attached to him at all, which was huge by the way wasn’t stopped and was also greeted with the hello. I didn’t get a hello hi how are you doing or anything and I’m not even from this state it was a horrible experience that I would never forget if I was able to give it no stars I would the manager was blonde, white and short and totally disrespectful and out of order she put a sour in to my vacation and I do not like that at all this is the honest truth of how I was treated at this Wisconsin location.

Love this store! So many good finds, lots of clothes that still have the store tags on them. I always find a few good books also!

I find a lot of goodies at this store, but I avoid the clothing sections now. It’s impossible to browse the racks when they are JAM PACKED and you already know the prices are absurd so I don’t waste my time. I saw they made the minimum prices for dresses & jeans $9.99 now….well when there are so many dresses that you can’t move them on the rack to look and every free spot in the store is FULL of dresses…maybe it’s time to sit down and assess what’s going wrong.

Last night on Friday January 30th, I stopped at the Grafton and the Sheboygan Goodwill location. My experience at the Grafton store was awful. Go see my review and the photos. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and I am talking about the Grafton location. The customers in the store were so rude. Nobody respected person space and so many were “hunting” for deals to just resell. They were using the Google lens app or AI to find the value of electronics and it made my shopping experience awful. I left the store purchasing nothing and was upset with the experience. On the hand I stopped next at the Sheboygan store 1 hour later. The bathroom was spotless and clean. I am not even kidding it was as it should look and should be. The customers at this location did respect person space. It was a much more laid back and casual shopping experience. I left the Grafton store purchasing nothing because of how rude and elbow pushy the customers were as I was having my turn to browse. Which I felt there right to browse was more important as they cut me off and stepped in-front of me. On the other hand the Sheboygan store was a pleasant shopping experience and I purchased 4 pairs of pants that I am super excited about. The Sheboygan location is under much better management. The Grafton location is being managed by someone that needs to get their act together. The bathroom was DISGUSTING.
