Providing personalized dental care and preventative services in Sheboygan
Service was great. Was just not happy with an extra $50 fee for a new quick cancer scan that was not previously discussed with me. Never had one before and was not told in advance that it is a new test that is not covered by insurance. Not cool.
The dental care seems to be very good, more that satisfied with that. Courteous people at this office. A previous visit went very well. But, Not too pleased with the disclosure of charges while in the office recently, only to find out after some prep work was done that a 450.00 scan (not sure if there was a lesser option?) was not covered by insurance, and billed to me. We spoke of other options, but NO prices were discussed at all during the conversation. Only to find out about the 450.00 scan charge (which took about 3 mins) when checking out. Guess I need to ask more questions next round?
My appointment yesterday was for a filling and crown prep. I will admit I wasn't a big fan of Dr Buchanan in the past, so I was a little nervous. Abby explained everything so thoroughly! She was very knowledgeable. She made me feel very much at ease, as did Dr Patel. Dr Patel made me feel very comfortable and they both made "no pain" a priority. The filling and temporary crown feel great!
It was my son’s first visit to a dentist and he had a very great time there, much to our surprise. The staff, nurse and the doctor were very friendly. Nurse Amber was great with our son.
My experience is always great! I can depend on speaking with knowledgeable staff, great and personable hygienists, and an exceptional dentist. I love the fact that pulling teeth is the last option. They always educate you on gum health and teeth health and are very transparent. Dental care is expensive, but they do all they can to make sure that it will not bring on hardship. I love Family Dental Care.
