Walk-in medical clinic services for immediate care needs
This place is a night mare. First they mess up running my insurance, try to over bill me. Plus, do not try to call and set up an appointment. The operator does not know what they are doing. Call and ask for chiropractor office and you get transfered to some other area not close to the place you requested.
This place is a joke, just designed to bill you and provide no help whatsoever. I went to this location seeking help, a diagnosis, and medicine for my son. On the first visit to the facility, we had already been sick for going on 2 weeks and were running high fevers. When arriving, I asked to see a pediatrician. I was told I needed to be seen by the urgent care unit. I was told that they had pediatricians. I was told that the Pediatricians also consult on cases, even if they aren't seen by one. During the first visit, we discussed how long it had been and how he seemed to be getting worse. We were told that "we will test for strep, but we will not treat for anything else, especially if it's RSV. We will let it naturally run its course." They claimed the strep test came back negative. The facility told me that if signs and symptoms persist or worsen, especially after 10 days, to come back in. A week later, my son's condition got worse. I decided to bring him back in and re-expressed my concerns. I asked to see a pediatrician again. I expressed how I felt ignored and that I wanted my son to be on antibiotics, especially since we were already sick for 3 weeks and going on 4, and the symptoms seemed to be progressing and getting worse. I have been told many times that he could be dealing with something viral. I asked them to test and prescribe antibiotics because I know it's a sickness, and he can't fight it, given the length of time he's had it. The doctor agreed that there's possibly something going on, but she also believes it's allergies. I looked at her and told her, "You can't give another person allergies." In the time he's had this, he's gotten me sick twice and his dad sick. It's more than allergies. After two visits, they are trying to tell me to come back in for additional testing, especially after "10 days of signs and symptoms." This place has no interest in treating you; they only want you to keep coming back for testing and refuse to prescribe an antibiotic. The first visit, they charged me $334 for a conversation and one test for strep. Who knows how much they will charge for the second appointment? Their intentions were not to diagnose and have verbalized that they have no intention of prescribing medications. Apparently, they just want us to keep coming back in "run tests," but they never run what they agree to, and only to rack up a bill. The doctor told me yesterday at my second visit that she could order X-rays.... there's no reason at all to run an X-ray and anyone with common sense knows that!! They lied to me twice about the fact that my son could even be seen by a pediatrician. No pediatrician has seen my son or reviewed his case, and they keep telling me he may have something viral, but they are testing for everything but that, even though I specifically asked them to twice. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT REAL HELP. They are clearly money-hungry and incompetent.
I've been here twice in the last 2 months. Both times have been quick. I scheduled online & arrived approx 10-15 min before the scheduled times. Both times I got in immediately upon arrival. Staff was super nice.
I had to take my son into the Aurora Urgent Care in Sheboygan today after he got hurt at school recess. The receptionist was friendly and we were seen in a very timely fashion. The nurse and the nurse practitioner were kind, knowledgeable, asked plenty of questions to understand our situation, and answered all our questions. It gave me confidence in the care my son received. It was a wonderful experience. I am extremely thankful whenever there is good service and professional help in our community. That is what my family received today at Aurora Urgent Care. Thank you very much!
I had a highly disappointing experience at this medical clinic. Upon walking in, the nurse practitioner Lisette Brown entered the room without any introduction or initial questions. Instead of assessing my condition with care, the first thing she said was, “Why did you come here? You shouldn’t have come here.” I was in pain and needed medical attention, yet she dismissed my concerns, stating that I should have contacted my primary care doctor. As most patients know, securing an appointment with a primary care provider can take several days, sometimes even longer. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of empathy for a patient in distress. The overall environment of this clinic feels chaotic, prioritizing quick prescriptions over thorough diagnoses. Rather than addressing the root cause of the issue, they seem more focused on pushing medications. And if a specialist is needed, be prepared to wait up to six months for a referral. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and care, not made to feel like an inconvenience. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking compassionate and competent medical care.
