The intake person was aggressive and accusatory. Didn't appreciate the crappy treatment. July 2025 Was told that I could go without medication, "hundreds do", and it's not a life or death thing. By an rn. Prior authorization takes "up to 4 weeks". Wholly unacceptable.

Yes when they talk to you they're very compassionate. But a month later or after that they start taking your medication away and then you really start to get mad because you're having panic attacks and heart fluttering and just a lot of worries. I don't know why they think these people are doctors when they're just nurse practitioners. When you look up a doctor for Sheboygan for behavioral Health you can't even find a psychiatrist you can only find a nurse practitioner. So that tells you something about the place. I was fine for years and then they messed it up by taking me off of something that I was doing fine on. I told them once what is your population in k1 down at the Sheboygan memorial hospital because that's what it seems like that's what they're trying to do why do you think they have a warning when you call their office to not act out on the phone or get mad. Don't come here it's not worth it you get put on something they'll take you off of it and even if you're doing good they'll take you off of it. That's what happened to me and now I don't know what to do. I'm upset I wish someone would help me but I can't seem to find help anywhere in this stupid city. Good luck people just remember you'll be taken off the stuff in a couple months. Oh yeah and maybe if you tell your patients that you're taking them down on the medication and not have them pick it up and then freak out when they get it. Now they have only one psychiatrist for adults how does that work. I don't get this place I don't understand why they can't hire more adult psychiatrists because I don't trust some of the doctors which their not actually doctors they are just nurse practitioners.

Never got the proper treatment. Went to another dr and found out the diagnosis was not entirely correct. I had been going here for years and could never get the correct answers, just more pills.I was on about 7 different prescriptions and 9 pills at bedtime. Could never figure out why I was having stomach problems.

I've been seeing Dr. Kunapuli for several months now. She is an amazing psychiatrist. I couldn't believe how well she got a clear grasp on my health issues so quickly. One thing that I really appreciate is that you can tell that she genuinely cares. She is also very knowledgeable, and carefully considers the pros and cons of different treatment plans. She also welcomes any questions or concerns I may have as a patient. I get the impression that she wants to make me feel comfortable and fully informed about any of the suggestions she makes regarding my health.
