Random Lake Motel

Our stay at this charming motel was fantastic! The rooms were spotlessly clean! The host, was incredibly welcoming to us, including our German Shepherd. She also shared excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining. The shower pressure was impressively strong with lasting hot water.

Clean, no frills roll up on hwy 57. Angela was so accommodating letting us arrive early. Complimentary bottles of water and warm, fluffy towels right out of dryer. Well kept grounds to sit outside and watch the sun set. It was nice chatting with you Angela! Will be back when passing through again!

I can't say enough good things about this little out of the way surprise. We try to choose motels when traveling with our dogs, for the convenience when time to walk them. This place was literally in the middle of nowhere, but that was what we were looking for. The motel is "vintage quaint." The rooms are spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. But the best thing about the Wisconsin-Aire Motel is the service. At check-in, we were greeted with a cheerful hello that was entirely sincere. All the information we needed to know about the property was given without having to ask. Recommendations for nearby food were provided, and we were even asked if we wanted a towel to put under our dogs' food and water bowls, even though the floors were tile. I travel frequently and am underwhelmed by hotel staff most of the time. I would stay here again just to experience the refreshing energy and enthusiasm of the girl at the front desk.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Typical motel experience. Woman who checked us in was extremely nice and recommended Random Lake Pizzeria, which was delicious. Light above shower didn't work, and door had to be worked a little if the AC wasn't on but nothing that couldn't be overlooked. Clean towels, clean bathroom, decent sized fridge, air fryer microwave. TV was easy to navigate and AC worked fantastic. Near plenty of towns with great restaurants, and about 40 min outside of Milwaukee if you're looking for cheaper accommodations. There was also a little sitting area outside with picnic tables and a grill, though we didn't use it while we were there. Overall a very pleasant experience for a very good price, even on Labor Day weekend.
