Bailey House Bed & Bike Inn

It was so nice to be able to get together with a few family members for a long weekend. The house was impeccably clean. It was perfect as everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We were able to make all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The dining room table fit everyone. We played games we brought and ones they have available at the house. The house has both Victorian and modern decore that makes it both stylish and comfy. I can definitely see our family having future gatherings at The Bailey House Bed & Bike Inn.

My family spent Christmas at The Bailey House. We could not have been more pleased with our time here. We called Port Washington home for many years and after recently relocating to North Carolina we were in Port visiting family and friends for the holidays. The Bailey House felt like home. A gorgeous historic Victorian home with original touches, beautiful woodwork, fixtures, and modern amenities in the bathrooms. A highlight is the banister light... A perfect place to spend time in a quaint city. Easy walking distance from downtown shopping and restaurants. Thank you Tammy for opening this lovely home to visitors of beautiful Port Washington.

We rented the Bailey House to accommodate overflow while hosting out of town family for Thanksgiving. It was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near downtown. Perfect!

Check-in was a smooth process. Rooms were easy to find and each room had their own bathroom. The rooms looked just like the pictures online. We were grateful to find a property with a bedroom on the main floor due to having an elderly relative joining us. I do wish the bathroom downstairs had an accessible shower as the tub was too high for our relative to attempt independently. We were ecstatic to find the home with a fully stocked kitchen. There were also a ton of games and a few different decks I cards to play with. There is a game for everyone to enjoy. It was also fun to discover the home was named after the movie, "It's A Wonderful Life." Thankfully we had perfect weather because the house did not come with air conditioner. The backyard gazebo was a great place to hangout with our family. There is a firepit but after an attempt to contact the owners, we couldnt figure out how to get the gas fire pit to work. We visited during fourth of July weekend and the neighborhood was quiet. Great location and a short walk to the main downtown area.
