First time visiting the Steerage. All of the staff were very nice. With dark wood and lower lighting it has a nice feel to it. Ample bar space. Dining is booth or table. We went for brunch and had the corned beef hash with eggs and lemon French toast with blueberry syrup. Very good.
Lovely and unique dinner! Located in a comfortable basement setting, this restaurant celebrates immigrant ships and the people who came to America on them. The dishes are from those cultures- German, Italian, Greek, English, and more. We split the special at the time, Souvlaki, and then had the fantastic pork chop and Cioppino. To drink I had the Pimm's Cup, the best made one I've had yet. The service was very kind and attentive. This is a gem of a place and a great choice when you want to escape the summer sun for a bit!
We’ve eaten at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We both had the Swedish meatball special and the Scottish deviled eggs as an appetizer. Both outstanding!
First time here. Bartender made a great irish old fashion. Garlic bread with mozzarella cheese appetizer for starters. Wonderful server - Madison provide good suggestions. Admiral sandwich of sliced meat with cream sauce was excellent. Nice Irish background music. Bowl of clam chowder very tasty. Coleslaw was so-so. Dessert milkmaid square like a spong cake is wonderful. Hardest part of this place was trying to find front door. Could not find it. Went to rear door to get in. Overall, definitely go here.
Would HIGHLY recommend dining here, the food is amazing!! The pork chop is fantastic, mini-potatoes were delish with the Cod, and The Uncle ! Janet’s Carrot Cake is probably some of the best I’ve ever tried!🔥 The service is outstanding! Our waitress Kate treated us so well, such a great experience! Don’t walk here, Run here!
