A little hard for first access but otherwise a beautiful back. There are only two ways to this beach, one from the upper park down several steps or now parking by the American Legion and walking around the water treatment plants. If you have little kids, it not be a long trek.

I used to live in the South, where we enjoyed visiting beautiful beaches. However, we were saddened by the prospect of no longer experiencing those scenic coastlines. Fortunately, our current location offers a comparable atmosphere, which we thoroughly appreciate. The landscape features majestic mountain cliffs and a vast lake, reminiscent of an ocean.

It is a very beautiful park. I've taken pictures here for senior pictures, families, and weddings. I've also come here on my own, just to have a picnic with my husband. There's a lot to do for everyone. There are playgrounds for kids, places to walk and get exercise while seeing beautiful scenery, and places to simply sit and relax.
