While traveling through the area, my group needed to stop for a meal. We happened upon Rumors Roadhouse and decided to stop in. We were seated by Sloan, who was our server through out our meal. He was mild-mannered and very knowledgeable about the menu and their offerings. I went with the Brisket Dinner and selected Sweet Potato Fries and the Mac & Cheese for my meal. The brisket was very tasty and melted in your mouth,the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, the Mac & Cheese was top notch. If we're ever find ourselves in the area, we will surely stop again and I would recommend the same for others.

Everything was so so wonderful! We were able to be seated right away with a group of 7. Our waiter, Sloan, was so welcoming and hospital and always checking on us and making sure everything is good. The food was SO good and savory. I got the Meaty Mac with Brisket and it was wonderful. The cheese curds were delicious and the perfect consistency; and the ranch was good too. The Dark Choco Brownie!!! Ugh that was divineeeee, I would go back just for that. (I sort of inhaled it before I took a picture 😭😂)

Wonderful food! The ribs fell off the bone and the brisket flatbread pizza was something I could eat every day! My kids each got the brisket dinner and raved about how tender it was. The bartender doubled as our host and waiter and he was great!!! He made us feel very welcome and was attentive throughout our entire visit. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced delicious BBQ dinner!

Had the pulled pork dinner. The pork was kinda dried out and didn’t have much flavor. The water I had, is the worst water I’ve ever had in my entire life. 5 others had a variety of fountain drinks or water, and said the same thing. It tasted like it came out of a 300 year old iron tub or something. I only sipped it sparingly. Maybe I just came in on an unlucky day. I would give this place one more try.

I had such high hopes for this place. The menu had a lot of different choices but I was there for the ribs. Unfortunately they were sold out of those so I opted for the beef brisket dinner and the hubby ordered the pulled pork dinner. Both dinners included two sides. I chose the hand-cut fries and the macaroni and cheese. He chose the baked beans and the coleslaw. First the positive aspect of the meals. The fries were fresh and hot. Sad to say that's pretty much it. There were three pieces of the beef brisket and the majority of it was fat. This was a $21 meal so to say this was disappointing would be a huge understatement. The macaroni and cheese was a bright yellow and definitely did not taste like any kind of macaroni and cheese I have ever had. The pulled pork was a slab of pork and also covered in fat. He left most of his $17 meal on the plate and this is a guy who never leaves leftovers so that pretty much says it all. The atmosphere was very dark and rustic (in a bad way)and some of the tables were actually patio type tables that were right next to the bar. Overall this was the worst dining experience I have ever had and I'm in my 60's so that's saying a lot.
