We originally requested a specific area and were told it was booked. Which we made adjustments and found another location. Throughout the weekend the location we requested was never occupied. Our group was pretty disappointed. We also noticed the grounds were not as maintained as usual. Plants were over grown or dead. Bathrooms were not as clean as usual. And there were no fun events over the Labor Day Weekend outside of the band, duck search, and a small gulf cart parade. The campgrounds used to do theme nights, bingo, kids events galore, and all kinds of fund stuff. Praying the new management is able to bring back some of the pizzazz!

A beautiful one week stay at one of the camper camping sites. This property is huge, abundant in manicured green areas and matured trees. Personnel are very friendly, accommodating and responsive. The three pool areas as well as the many bath houses are meticulously maintained; very clean and in good shape. Activities are well run. Last night guests and seasonal residents danced for over three hours to the music of Mt Olive Band; what a night!!! Keith, who runs the maintenance dept., was very attentive, personable and informative. What a pleasurable stay! I look forward to returning here

It is Saturday night at 10:40 PM! Finally the bands that have been screeching for 5 hours have stopped! It has been deafening! This is not what camping should be like!

Our first and last time here. We had a problem changing our site because they are closed Monday, Tuesday. Took 2 hours at 86 degrees w a pet. There is nothing on the website that states there are no e-bikes are allowed which pissed off a lot of people. It just states at the very bottom of web page, policies are to change anytime. They are extremely strict about it too. No gas carts. Just electric. Seasonal campers have mopeds that go extremely fast, golf carts, motorcycles even crotch rockets that went by super fast. But, the ranger(s) will stop you on an e-bike. It made no sense. Perhaps they want you to rent a golf cart? It is mostly all black topped so bike riding would be perfect. The park for kids has no shade! So if you have a little one and it is 90 degrees get ready for all of the equipment to be hot. If you can't stand the sun, bring an umbrella. They must not consider people w disabilities or elderly whom want to sit with the grandkids. The one pool was just getting filled after Memorial Day. The other pool, the water wasn't coming out of the holes and seemed like the filters weren't running. The other pool by the hot tub (which is old & nothing special) was working correctly. The one positive I can say is the bathrooms are nice with plenty of hooks and something to put your supplies on. There are plenty of seasonal campers for sale. I've been camping since 6mo old & like I said 1st and last time here.

This campground was a huge disappointment. I flew all the way from Texas just to pick up my belongings. I was told I could use my key card to get in, but when I got there, it was deactivated. The gate is unlocked during certain hours, and no one was there in the office. I called the after hours number and it just rang or went to voicemail. I saw a worker on site and asked for help so I could drive to my campsite. He refused and said management would not allow it, even after I called them. I had to walk in and carry everything out myself. No help. No care. Nothing. I told him I would write a review because the customer service was just horrible. I work in a professional career and could never imagine not going above and beyond for a customer. You don’t have to take my word for it, ask other campers there. People staying there are constantly complaining or leaving. The people that do stay are only there because of their friendships with other campers Do not waste your time or money. This place is not worth it. It’s literally a dump with the worst staff.
