Horrible Service!!! The table the server sat us at had crumbs on it, I wiped it off. Then she brought us menus & asked about drinks, we asked for water to start. She returned right away with water then asked if we were ready to order, we didn't even get a chance to look at the menu. We asked for another minute. Prices are not bad, thats good. She returned w/chips and salsa, asked again about ordering, so my hubby ordered an appetizer and dinner for us to split. We ordered the queso fundido w/ steak appetizer ( 1 of the options) & the skirt steak dinner, she immediately questioned the way we ordered the appetizer & said most people order w/ chorizo and she needed to go check to see if she had enough steak to make the dinner. She came back & said all was good. Now my husband gets up to wash his hands & mentions to her we need napkins we had chips & salsa. A few minutes later she comes with our melted cheese appetizer, we still have no napkins, utensils or plates. I get up walk over & ask for utensils, she hands 1 set wrapped in a napkin, I explained that there are 2 of us, she hands me a 2nd set. Still no plates. So we look at each other how do you eat melted cheese & tortillas without plates, so we improvise & use our napkins as plates as she is off serving another table & our cheese has already been sitting. He says do you just want to get the dinner to go, I said yes but please wait for our food because I don't think she likes us. We start on the appetizer finally & our food comes still no plates. I am done at this point & she doesn't offer any. We look at each other & said enough. I called her back over & asked for boxes or something to take back to our room. She brings 2, I ask for something small to put the salsa in & she says if I give you a container I have to charge you for the salsa, I dumped it in the box. We were out. The food was just ok, but the service was non existent & unacceptable, we had never been treated that way & still trying to figure out what was going on or what we did to receive no service. If I didn't request it we would still be sitting there waiting for utensils with no plates. 🤣
