Aurora Grafton hospital Dr.Scott Johnson and his team are absolutely awesome! He preformed open heart surgery on me and was the best! I would highly recommend him he is a great Doctor easy to communicate with kind caring and compassionate! He was definitely paying attention in medical school his bedside manner can't be matched! This place is a complete joke. "Dr." Lazaro is entirely incompetent. I decided to seek care from another provider due to the utter inadequacy of this so-called "doctor." I was leaving because I no longer wanted to be exploited by overpriced visits and unnecessary surgeries. Yes, I just mentioned that I underwent an entirely unnecessary surgery. I was charged $1,300 by "Dr." Lazaro just to look at a skin tag, which he then insisted needed to be removed surgically! I later discovered that this could have been resolved with a simple rubber band. I’m serious. They treated me like a cash pinata, taking away my money until it was all gone—$7,000 later. “How dare I leave and seek a doctor who adheres to the Hippocratic Oath?” But wait! You need a medication that must be filled for your survival... They will use this to hurt you. If you decide to leave and need a refill, they will deny you, while the other doctor within the same Aurora system will also refuse to help. So now what do you do? You need the medication to survive. You end up spending 12 hours trying to find a doctor who can see you so you can get your prescriptions filled. Yes, again, the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm is thrown out the window. I just needed to get to another doctor's visit, but both doctors said they would not assist me. You want to know where I had to go? A telehealth service—a video chat with a doctor that took me just 10 minutes. This service was a phone-based consultation with a nurse practitioner who asked me a few questions, and 5 minutes later, I had my prescription. Now let's think about this: two doctors within the Aurora system claimed they were too busy and that I was so low on their priority list that they couldn’t spare even 5 minutes to assist me with my medication until I had a chance to sit down with a doctor. What frustrates me even more is that I got my prescription filled at a location where my new doctor is based, a doctor who is so busy he can’t fit me in until next year. There wasn’t a single person in the waiting room—Not one! So, while I spent hours struggling to get my prescription filled, these doctors are likely counting money or scrolling through their phones rather than caring for patients. I will be looking outside of Aurora Healthcare; this system is toxic and cannot be salvaged. It needs to be replaced by a better one. I can’t wait until AI takes their jobs—the entire lot of them.
Dr. Murthy does a great job of understanding my medical history and treating me in the most natural ways possible. He encourages me to make positive health changes to avoid medicine/surgery when possible. He always explains the pros and cons of all recommended treatments.
At 70 years old, and being relatively healthy my entire life, doctor and hospital visits are becoming a bit more necessary. Aurora hospitals and clinics in Sheboygan Co. have really helped lower my anxiety about seeing a doctor. Friendly, caring, competent people. And their facilities are pretty darn exceptional. So far, so good.
