Enjoy pizza, pulled pork mac and cheese, and pretzel sticks
This place is pretty awesome. Plenty of parking, easily found, and family friendly. The food is of high quality and the staff are super curtious and friendly. My family enjoyed eating here so much that over our 5 day stayed here to watch racing ar Road America and explore the area, we ate here 3 times. Highly recommended. The prices are VERY fair and the portions are massive. More than once I took a box from lunch time have for dinner.
Writing this as I'm waiting for our food. One hour after ordering, we are still waiting. Our poor 10 year old son is getting incredibly bored, antsy, & hungry (as we are). Aren't even that busy. This is pathetic & we will NEVER be back. Will update on how the food is, if we ever get it...... UPDATE: Had to ask for our food to-go (we had originally had plenty of time to pick up my daughter from work after eating, but not with this kind of service), once it finally arrived (after over an hour). Was told by some lady that the long delay was due to their bar being "super busy with orders". There were maybe 5 people in the bar when we got there (so, same time as us), & we ordered pretty quickly. When we left, I counted FIFTEEN people in the bar. As cooks & servers, we would never consider that "busy" in any way. Just excuses. Also... nothing was comped. Nothing was done to make things better for our horrible experience. St least give the kid a cookie or something. He deserved it. Disgusting & pathetic. This is LITERALLY my last meal/dining out experience, for a minimum of TWO MONTHS (I will be on a liquid, then pureed food diet for 2 months after my surgery next week). I am so very disappointed.
We had the pulled pork mac and cheese, pizza, and some cheese bread. Overall it was pretty good but there was hardly any meat in the pulled pork mac and cheese. The waitress was very friendly and their menu selection is very large. They have a great selection of music playing as well.
It was my first time here and I will definitely be back. The food was great. I especially liked the little soft pretzel stick that I got with my soup. I could tell it was very fresh. The portion sizes are generous so don't be intimidated by the price. The mac and cheese that I got was plenty for two meals which meant I got to enjoy it the next day as well. I can't recommend this place enough.
The service was great. The food was good. Truffle curds were the best. Mac and cheese were creamy and delicious, just too much pepper for my liking. The location of the building is by a high traffic area, so outside seating would be very loud if used. All is all, great place to enjoy a meal.
