Pine Acres Driving Range is one of the coolest spots I’ve ever hit balls at in Wisconsin. First off, the location itself is just awesome — peaceful, scenic, and far enough away from the hustle to make it feel like your own little golf getaway. What really stands out is that it’s completely self-service. No waiting around for someone to open up shop — you just show up, grab your balls, and start swinging. It opens early, which is perfect for getting a session in before work or while the morning air is still crisp. I also have to give a huge shoutout to their setup. The distance markers are in abundance, so it’s super easy to track your yardages and dial in specific clubs. On top of that, they’ve got plenty of targets to aim for, which makes practice way more engaging than just hitting into an empty field. It’s clear that they’ve put thought into making the range not only functional but also fun.
