Freshly made sandwiches and bagels in Middlebury
Great sandwiches but absolutely ridiculous wait time since they moved locations, waited 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. 15 minutes in they finished the people in front of us and we waited for another 15 for people with larger and more intricate orders. I get being short staffed but that’s ridiculous for 2 bagels. (And they didn’t even give me the right bagel)
Service was friendly. Thought the breakfast sandwich was better than the bagel. Bagel was too bready not like a New York style
I visited for the first time at their old location, just a week before they moved to their new location. I visited their new location today with a friend (beautiful interior by the way, you could tell a lot of love and effort went into the design) and our sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Both visits have been nothing short of amazing. The ladies in the front were welcoming and kind. We came on Sunday at 10 am and there was perfect amount of time to figure out what we wanted while we waited in line before getting to the counter and a normal (10 minute) wait for the food. Ive seen other reviews complaining, but this isn’t a fast food restaurant, things are made to order and if there’s more people waiting then that means the kitchen has more orders to fill. Patience is a virtue, quality takes time and this place has proven that they know how to whip it up in the kitchen. If you know you’re in a rush then plan ahead, go to an actual fast food restaurant, or visit during non peak times. I can’t wait to try more of their delicious menu, best wishes in the new space!
If you are just wanting a bagel, be prepared to wait. I waited 40 minutes for an egg sandwich and a plain bagel. I understand that this is a new location but they have been in business for quite a while. Not a pleasant experience.
While visiting family, we found an amazing breakfast spot that blew us away. Back in Brooklyn, we’re used to Defonte’s Sandwich Shop, and not many places can match their incredible flavors. But this place? It came pretty close! My sister-in-law highly recommended it, and she was right—every bite was fantastic. We tried the spicy sandwich, filled with cheese, eggs, and just the right amount of bacon. The flavors were spot-on—the perfect blend of spice, soft cheese, and crispy bacon made every bite unforgettable. If you're in the area, we highly recommend stopping by for breakfast. You won’t be disappointed.
