I have visited here on a regular weekend night and during a holiday. Wouldn’t recommend going during a holiday as they were very overwhelmed and did not seem equipped to handle the influx of guests. We also had called to make a reservation weeks ago only to arrive and have them they say there was no record of it. The only thing the hostess had to go by was handwritten names and times on a piece of notebook paper. It is 2026, we should be able to make a reservation online. Maybe then they would keep better track of it. Luckily they were able to seat us as we had made the reservation for 5:00 so we got there before the crowd. When we were sat we did have to wait 10 minutes before we were finally given menus and waters. The man that helped us said they were super busy due to it being Mother’s Day. I had noticed they offered a Mother’s Day brunch that ended at 3:00. I would think that if they can’t handle the rush and are losing track of reservations, then they should either do the brunch OR dinner, not both. With that said, the food is always delicious and has never disappointed. Just don’t try this place during a holiday.

Dined at Aldo’s Italian in Middlebury tonight. Seated by the bar at a high-top—fine, but no bread or dipping oil unless you beg for it. Bartender poured me a ‘hard cider’ that tasted like dark beer; wife’s martini was basically olive brine. Had to nudge for grated cheese and hot pepper flakes in my pasta fazool—they never showed. Calamari appetizer was spot on, seafood fra diavolo divine, chicken Francese superb. Service? accented staff, one bloke nearly bowled me over while I was walking towards the restroom. Cappuccino and dessert saved the evening, but barely. Three stars—food shines, everything else drags.

Delicious food! I had the beef tenderloin over fettuccine with mushrooms and Deglaze sauce. Great portion size too. I ate 2 more meals off my left overs. Service was excellent! Dessert was to die for, Dubi chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The coconut ice cream was also a big hit 😋 Can’t wait to go back.

My friend and I stopped by this wonderful establishment to celebrate a big win for her and decided to go with appetizers and drinks! We were not disappointed at all with the food selection or the drinks we had! There are vegetarian options which all of the appetizers we did get were vegetarian friendly! The service was phenomenal also. Our server was attentive. Definitely a great place to stop in and grab a quick bite or have dinner! The restaurant is also beautifully decorated!
