Dr.’s Carlson and Kaplan are great surgeons. I had a really bad rotator cuff repair surgery and I have to say it’s working out great so far. (Week 2 recovery from surgery)

Dr. Aglio is amazing! My elbow surgery went perfectly, and my recovery has been great. I’m so thankful for such a skilled and knowledgeable doctor!

The providers themselves are FANTASTIC!! However, the front end/clerical side of things is SO DAMN DISORGANIZED they really deserve 1-star, but the providers deserve 5. Good luck making an appointment, and if you can, I promise you they will double book and it will take at minimum twice as long as expected. Again, this is ENTIRELY the fault of the front desk staff, not the medical staff.

Unfortunaetly I had made an appt for today 8/24 and when I arrived I found that the appthad not been put into the schedule. This rating is based on experience I had today. Not any medical issue, because I was not able to have any care today. We came back a day earlyfrom vacation for the consultation with a PA. Because of the wide spread inflammation I am experiencing I endured carpal tunnel symtoms on my drive from Prospect to Middlebury. I did not receive any kind of apology for the inconvenience, Just the opposite. I tols the person at the desk that I has called last week and on one call made two appts, one for my shoulder and on a different day one for my hands. She aggressively implied that I had made a mistake. Even though I had told her I made one call and made two appts. she suggested I might have made the appt at a different orthopedic office and suggested that I go check at another office to see if I had made an appt elsewhere. I told her it was one call to Active Orthopedics with two appts scheduled. I understand scheduling mistakes can be made but to try to attach the blame to the patient is not the sign of a patient driven pratice. She did check to see if the PA could see me, he could not. I could see there was no apology coming . I rescheduled. Since this practice was recommended to be by a doctor I trust and respect I am looking forward to receiving the help I need. I suggest retraining on patient service for this particular clerk. I also suggest that since there is a lack of convenient handicapped parking it is not allowed to have a shredding truck block a handicapped parking space

They didn't put in the prescription in and the office didn't pick up one of the 17 calls, yes count them, 17, made over the week to advise them. They did call back once but unfortunately I was in a meeting. I'm not waiting 7 days of calling for them, and 7 days and swelling and nerve pain and then have to wait over the weekend to help them remember to process the prescription. This is why they get 1 star. I'm since am ending my statement after speaking with them. This practice also has poor internal communication and standards. Do not use them.
