1st experience was great. 2nd experience was awful! So awful that I'll never return. The pedicure was not good. No shaping of the nail, no cleaning underneath. Gel is too thick. Massage sucked. Never offered any beverages. To top it all off they tried to overcharge me double. When I pointed out the overcharge and showed the service I selected from the menu they gave me, the woman, Amy, tried to argue with me about it! Tried to tell me "that's the winter price, not summer". What!?!?! Smh. She then put me on the phone with the boss - who honored the advertised price, as they should. But by then any remnant of relaxation that was had was gone!

What's the point of making an appointment if they're going to make you wait 40 minutes? I asked for a simple heart on my gel toes, the female stated she would "try" to do a heart. One came out fine, the other came out completely crooked and she didn't even offer to fix it because they were in such a rush to get us over into the chairs to do our nails. Mind you, she cut my toe and made me bleed. The female who did my nails did awesome, however the female who did my daughter's nails didn't do so well. When confronted on the issue of two of her nails, they made excuses and ignored her. $300 for 2 pedicures and a simple full set of nails, I'll stay home and do my own next time.

Went here 2x. The first time wasn’t bad, I wasn’t crazy about the shape of my nails but overall wasn’t bad. The second time I went Amy did my nails, gel fill was horrible and left lumpy, I asked for my nails to be shaped slightly rounded and I ended up with almond shaped nails which looked ridiculous. Will never go back again. They over charge people. Prices are not clear and each time charged more than what’s displayed on their board.

I’m not happy with the pedicure I received. I understand I got a basic pedicure with normal polish but when I tell you my service was RUSHED I mean it. I was in and out of that chair in like 10 minutes and the pedicure paint job is a reflection of it. The top coat flooded my big toe nails cuticles and it was sloppy work. She asked me if she should cut down the toe nails and I said yes, but she cut down my big toe nail way too short, rushing through it and not cutting off little by little and truly not taking her time. The nail file was pretty rough too, the edge of my toe nail was not smooth. The nail tech was still nice enough and the inside of the place is very beautiful, but the results were not satisfactory. I just wish she took her time more and left my toe nails a little longer. It was probably the worse pedicure I’ve ever received. Even tho I’m getting a basic service, I’m still paying $30 and the results should still be nice.

I started going to 3d nail spa in 2017 before they had multiple branches then they opened the Middlebury branch which was closer to my house than the original branch in waterbury. I’ve been going to the Middlebury location since 2022 so when I give this horrible review just know that I’ve truly had enough with their bullshit. I was faithfully going to a nail tech named Johanna because she did my shape exactly how I liked it. She was sweet and we had a good relationship until she randomly switched up on me. She offers her personal phone number to her “favorite” clients and they book her personally instead of through the 3d nail spa phone number or website. Those clients get VIP treatment and they come before anyone else. She never offered me her personal number so I usually book through the website & salon landline and for the past 2 years it’s been nothing but hell every time I go there. They’ll agree that I can come in and get serviced by her and I’ll get there and she’ll say she can’t do me because she’s doing someone else (one of her personal clients) or even if she does agree to do me she gives me an attitude for no reason whatsoever & you can tell that she’s annoyed that she has to do me. She’ll even tell me “I didn’t know that I had to do you.” It’s truly disgusting the way she’s been acting towards me a loyal client of years and of course management does nothing about this behavior, Johanna does what she wants but if I decided not to tip her cause she’s rude and disrespectful id be wrong right???!? I don’t understand why I would have to wait if I’ve made an appointment and I’ve been told to come at a certain time & I don’t understand the attitude towards me either. I appreciate the manager trying to compensate for this behavior by giving me $5 off and referring me to the Waterbury location but this has been going on for way too long now. The money off doesn't change the disrespect and disregard from Johanna nor does it change the inconvenience. I’m disgusted by the Middlebury location and I will never step foot in there again nor will I ever book Johanna again.
