This daycare is the best in Mequon! The teachers are absolutely amazing and the director Cassie is so responsive! My son was in Ms. Melodys 4k class and she spends so much time creating customized learning plans, planting vegetables, going on hikes, learning about the world, teaches all different holidays/traditions, animals, letters, numbers, you name it! We love her so much! The owners are so involved and make us feel like family! I love that it’s not a corporate run daycare!
Show moreBoth our infant and our 4 year old attend NSPCC and we've loved being part of this community! Everyone is super warm and welcoming, including all of the staff. They took the time to get to know our kids, and consistently provide great experiences for both. The staff sends lots of updates during the day (via the app) and talk to us about the kids' days at pickup. The camp style summer program for the older kids is really well done, and kept our son engaged and excited to go every day. Our infant has been growing up so fast, and the infant room staff are so good with him. He is so excited to see them every morning that he doesn't fuss or cry at drop off! We're glad to have found NSPCC - thanks to everyone for providing both great environment for our kids and peace of mind for us as parents!
Show moreWhat a great center! I’m extremely picky about where I will send my daughter and I have been extremely impressed with the summer program at north shore preschool. The kids go on so many fun field trips and also have had the chance to learn based on a different theme each week (community helpers, different countries, preschool prep). Ms Melody is AMAZING. My daughter is learning so much and having a ton of fun doing it. Melody pulls in her Montessori training and education to teach the kids such awesome things. Highly recommend you bring your preschooler here!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this daycare and the amazing people who make it what it is. From the very first day, they made our whole family feel safe, welcome, and understood. You can tell immediately that the staff truly care — not just about the children in their own classrooms, but about every child who walks through the door. It’s such a comforting feeling when teachers greet your child by name, even if they don’t teach them directly. It creates a true sense of community and belonging that is hard to find.
The environment itself is bright, clean, and full of joy. The classrooms are thoughtfully organized, and there’s a balance of structure and creativity that keeps the kids engaged and happy. Our children come home every day excited to share what they learned, who they played with, and what new things they discovered. They’re not just cared for — they’re learning, growing, and forming friendships that feel really meaningful.
Having been to two other daycares before finding this one, we can confidently say this place is different. It feels like home. The communication is exceptional — we’re always in the loop and feel like true partners in our child’s care and development. As parents who’ve had some trust issues from past experiences, we can’t overstate how much it means to be met with kindness, patience, and understanding at every turn. The staff never make us feel judged or dismissed; instead, they go above and beyond to make sure we feel safe, comfortable, and confident, even when new teachers or faces are introduced.
What stands out most is how deeply they understand that every child is unique. They meet each kid where they are — with empathy, flexibility, and genuine attention to their individual needs. It’s clear that the teachers and administrators hold themselves to an incredibly high standard of excellence, even in a field that can be so challenging to maintain consistency.
We are endlessly grateful for the love, stability, and sense of community this daycare provides. Our children are happy, thriving, and truly cared for — and as parents, that peace of mind is absolutely priceless.
