Pediatric primary care with lab, X-ray, and urgent care services in Mequon
Don't let the branding and buildings fool you. Children's employees, many of the employees are simply awful. Non-empathetic jerks. Especially the front desk people and staff administrators. They either have had terrible training or they just hire awful people. Also, they charge exorbitantly. We we charged $800 for a nurse to clean my kids ears. RIDICULOUS. Avoid if you can.
Dr. Shen and Dr. Bartlett have been wonderful for our two children. They both have a calming demeanor and are open to all of our questions. I recently worked with Dr. Bartlett as a lactation consultant and she was amazing. I got overwhelmed with the lactation consultants at our birthing hospital, but Dr. Bartlett was reassuring and very helpful postpartum. And Jeremy, a phlebotomist at this location, is fantastic!
Northshore pediactrics was a great kids clinic with great service before it merged with Childrens Wisconsin. We have seen the transition of this clinic from being a stand-alone practice with wonderful staff and service to becoming a long wait and no service clinic. We have great respect, and like our kids, pedeatrican, she is great. But the services that Childrens wisconsin is providing have become horrible. Every time we call for appointments or with medical questions, we have at least 15-25 mins hold time before we get to an operator. When we question operators, they say we are busy and you call us on our busiest day? Just to answer, a phone takes 15-20 mins? We have called them during different days and times, and its the same story and the same excuse every time. I will give 10 stars to our doctor, but for this clinic, overall, 2-3 stars are enough.
Nurse Sarah is amazing, she is so kind and understanding. She takes her time with the children and ensure that they are comfortable throughout her assessment. She also provides parents with all the information upfront such as vaccination and procedures.
This office is fantastic! From the front desk staff to the nurses and the doctors, we always get the care we need. They are always pleasant and respectful! I’m so happy we chose this office for our children! Hands down some of the best pediatricians around!
