Great place to hike and explore. Bird watching, wildlife viewing and hike to the top of the tower.

My husband and I vacation in Mequon once a year and we always make sure we stop to walk the trails and climb the tower. This is a beautiful area to go for a relaxing walk and see something beautiful. This past week we watched geese and other birds swim and nest from the lookout at the top of the tower. It's a great place for anyone families or singles just to get out in nature. There are tables you can stop and take a break or eat at and there is a small building near by with bathrooms and information on the trails and conservation efforts in the area. It's a beautiful landscape to walk and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town and busier trails.

This is an excellent place for walking. Nice mix of woods and open space and wetland. Nice view from the tower.
