Love going to Mequon Nature Preserve with my family. The walking trails are really nice and easy to enjoy, and it’s such a peaceful place to get outside. My kids especially love the outdoor playspace and exploring around the pond. It’s a great spot to let kids run around and enjoy nature. We always have a good time!

Was driving be the Mequon Nature Preserve today and decided to stop by. So glad that I did. The volunteer showed me around the building. Lots of classrooms for group activity and learning. The story of how they have been able to reclaim and restore this property is so very impressive. On the outside of the building is where the real fun begins. There is over 500 acres containing very impressive habitats including ponds and prairies. Walked to the Watch Tower which provides an amazing view of the area. They have field telescopes (is that the correct name?) that you can look into to see out even farther. An all around impressive facility and experience! ps - they have both indoor toilets and outside port-a-potties :)

First time visitor to this area. I have to say very impressed by the quality of the trails and accessibility. Visted here on our rare 73 degree day in Wisconsin. Many trail choices from 1/3 mile to 4 miles. If I the area try our the trails. Also the kids would like the two lookout towers on the trails.
