Lived here since 2003 can't imagine a better family and community oriented place to live . The lake is simply beautiful lots of wildlife many wildlife trails

I grew up in Lac du Cours in the Seventies. Even today, I would struggle to find a more energetic, walkable, safe and family-friendly community anywhere on Milwaukee’s North Shore... Back I n the ‘70’s...we had it all: a private lake with a private beach (and a water slide -remember?); a yacht club with private moorings; a private deep-dive pool; a clubhouse with a huge balcony and outdoor grill; private dressing rooms; tennis courts; soccer fields; baseball diamonds; basketball courts; private islands (parties did indeed occur); walking trails; ice-skating; hockey and tremendous open spaces for families to enjoy together. It was truly a community for friends! ‘Lac du Cours Day’ each summer had all of this...crashing into one tremendous block party/bonfire bacchanal...with kids’ games, bike parades, tennis tournaments, regattas, softball games, diving contests and friendly cocktails in the setting sun...Lac du Cours was an amazing place to grow up! I still have deep love for this community gathered around this special lake, and would love to call this place home once again!

Chem Lawn Pond at its best.... I'm willing to bet there is a Three Eyed Fish named "Blinky" living in this sewage pool of used Caviar and Proseco. Milwaukee's heavily Leaded Tap water from the early 90's would be a blessing.
