It was a first visit here and definitely won’t be our last! We started with margaritas - kiwi (flavor of the month) and peach. Delicious! Our entrees were the fiesta bowl and shrimp pineapple stir fry. Both very good and big enough for 2 meals. We sat on the back patio which was lovely. Plenty of umbrellas if you want to stay out of the sun. We were fortunate to have Hannah for our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, checked in with us, and over all provided great service. She loves her job and it showed!

We discovered Highland House earlier this year and it's one of our new favorites. Everything is always solid. We're big fans of the dip trio since we like a little bit of everything. The lobster and shrimp enchilada is my favorite entree, but my husband will say the fajitas are the way to go. The cherry limeade margarita is so good, but I had the knockout punch for the first time last night and WOW - it was delish. Desserts are a must too! Just try everything- you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing! First, it is absolutely huge. We were worried when we saw so many cars in the parking lot, but the place was only at half capacity. Also, there's something for everyone here. Large drink menu too. There are so many gluten free options on the menu. Lots of items are listed that they can be made with or without gluten. They have burgers, tacos, salads, lots of choices. We were very pleasantly surprised at this great find.

Fun and vibrant restaurant that is waaay bigger inside than you would think! I had the lobster and shrimp enchiladas that was delicious. I was thinking of asking for extra refried beans because most restaurants skimp imo. I was delighted when our food came out !minutes! after ordering and saw that nothing was skipped out on, especially not flavor!

A hidden gem in Mequon, just off Highway 43 at the intersection of Highland and North Port Washington roads. When friends suggested we meet them there for lunch, we were thinking "Supper club vibe," due to the name of the establishment. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to discover its laid-back, colorful and fun "Island vibe," with a fun and varied menu. Wraps, salads, sandwiches, and several Mexican-inspired offerings made deciding what to try a bit of a challenge! The hubby and I ordered guacamole for the table, which was fresh, delicious, and not too chunky. The complimentary tortilla chips were super crispy and perfectly seasoned. We also split a blackened ahi tuna sandwich, which was delicious! Our friends split an order of beef and chicken fajitas, and had enough left over to take home for another meal. There were quite a few patrons there at noon on a Tuesday; obviously a local favorite, further attested to by the scores of photographs adorning the walls showing smiling folks wearing their Highland House t-shirts while visiting locales all over the world. The space itself is quite large, with several areas which would be perfect for private/large gatherings. There's also quite a bit of outdoor seating for those beautiful Wisconsin late Spring to early Autumn days. We're just a bit bummed we've not heard of this place up until now, and so grateful our friends suggested it!
