The CNA's, therapy and Nurses were wonderful. My husband escaped last Monday in below zero weather. Facility never called me, this was number 3 of his elopement on a locked unit, and I found out from Mequon police. My husband was located 2.5 miles away. When I called security on behalf of my daughter's suggestion, she works at Mayo, I asked them to look at the camera footage to see if he left the building, they refused! They stated the police were handling it. My husband is 6'4" and 237lbs. They gave him food enough for a child. I asked staff 4 times to give him more food and they stated he is on Cardiac diet and couldn't. Eventually they did after the 4th time of asking. When I came time to pick up his meds, they sent us 39 miles south when we live 95 miles North of Mequon. Once we got to West Allis, it turned out it was a wholesale pharmacy and one that didn't sell to the public. Outraged? Yes I am!

My wife spent 4 weeks here and the staff was excellent and very helpful. The therapists really work with the patient and the family to get them to be able to go home. The facility is well kept and with the hospital attached there are plenty of doctors to help out. I would recommend it for any one that has a brain injury and needs rehab.
