Visit The Lunch Box Deli in Menomonee Falls for daily lunch service
We wanted to love it here, but unfortunately it really missed the bar. I would jot consider it a Deli. Had BLT’s- the sandwich was soaked in the bacon grease. Tomatoes were milly, and avacado was rubbery. I would not waste the money. When I think Deli, I think fresh and flavorful. This was not that. I would consider it a step above a sandwich from Arby’s. Bummer!
My wife and I were traveling through Menominee Falls WI and came across the most amazingly tasting corned beef sandwich that was cooked for 18 hours it was off the charts good!! Frankly we have tasted Rueben’s across the nation and this was totally worth stopping. We celebrated our 41st anniversary over a corned beef sandwich and we were so pleased! Enjoy.
I stopped in for a quick bite for an early lunch. The interior is huge and very clean. I ordered ham sandwich on sourdough. The food was delicious and well prepared. I was a tad disappointed in the service though as I was the only customer at the time and apparently the cook wasn't paying attention to the order and I ended waiting almost a half an hour for my food. The counter person was somewhat apologetic but that was about it. I would try again possibly during a busier time.
The Lunch Box Deli has the BEST corned beef sandwich ever! It was piled high with tender, flavorful corned beef and served on the best marble rye bread that held everything together perfectly. Every bite was juicy, hot, and seasoned just right you can tell they don’t cut corners here. Also the cheesecake hit the spot! And I have to shout out the cashier, Dameiana (hope I spelled it right)! She was so friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Great customer service makes a huge difference, and she absolutely delivered. Delicious food, clean environment, and amazing service. If you haven’t tried their corned beef yet, you’re missing out. I’ll definitely be back!
My intent was to pick up a sandwich, use my gift card, and head out. However, the relaxed environment lead me to order a pasta dish and enjoy it at the restaurant. My first impression of the dish was, “they should call it pesto with chicken”, as the chicken portions appeared small and only layered on the top; I was wrong. The chicken could be found throughout the dish, flavorful, with a touch of smokiness. I enjoyed the pesto from first bite to the last pesto. Finally, the staff was a pleasure: friendly, knowledgeable of the menu items, and willing to provide suggestions. Overall, great place to grab a bite in Downtown Menomonee Falls.
