Really cool bar. We moved to the area last year but this is our first time visiting The Wharf, I drive by all the time and it always looks packed and it always has popular local bands. The atmosphere inside is really cool, it reminds me of Florida with the modern nautical white walls and decor. The bartenders are friendly, drinks are reasonably priced as is the food. Foods pretty good, typical bar food options with crowd pleasing appetizers and sandwiches. My party of 4 all enjoyed it. You do have to order food at a different counter, so keep that in mind as there's no table service. The location is great, right on the lake and a crystal clear view of the USS Cobia submarine at the maritime museum across the street (or stream, I should say, lol). We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place for your next summer day/night out.

Family of 4. We went to The Wharf on Tuesday 6/30 at 1130am. My kids shared a 4 pc. chicken tender meal ($14) instead of seperate 2 pc kids meals ($9/ea). The chicken was delicious and came with enough fries for all 4 of us to share. My wife and I both got the Perch Sandwich ($12/each, just sandwich no fries) which comes on a brioche bun, but i got mine on Texas Toast as I dont like Brioche. The sandwiches were fantastic. Tarter sauce is excellent, as was the Ranch. Our total was $40, no drinks, just water. It would be nice if they had table side service instead of a order/pickup window. Also would like if they had an indoor area with AC as it was hot and muggy with no area to get out of it. Overall we really enjoyed The Wharf and will be back if we are in the area!

Loved being out on the water. Lots of seating. Great for outdoor concerts. Amazing specialty drinks. Lakewater is now my favorite drink.

Update: CHARGED US MORE THAN WE REALLY TIPPED! The restaurant was closed for changes and reopened. We (4 of us) were there about a week after the reopen. Bartender/server had to ask chef when we had menu questions. Not on her - you’d think management would have pepped everyone with how long they had been closed. New menu is mediocre and food was meh. The things we loved first time are no longer on the menu. Tipped 20% with a card. Got alert from my bank on the amount. Server added 33% more on top of the 20% We will never be back. Previous review: Wharf came highly recommended and for good reason. The food was delicious and the view absolutely stunning. You go to the kitchen window to order food and the bar to order drinks. We had the perch tacos and the Bee-sting pizza. Both were the perfect balance of savory and a little kick. They have live music most of the time with a large outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend!

What a fun bar right on Lake Michigan. Pretty sure it’s not dog friendly but they let ours in while dead I was mad when we couldn’t come back for the show Friday night. We left them at the hotel Saturday and had an amazing time. Great food, great location, great live music. Can’t wait to come back next time we see the mother in law
