Live music venue with multiple bars and seating options in Madison
The Slyvee is epic. Where you start ?! Functioning AC. Tons of nice bathrooms spread out around the venue. Brilliant sound and light. Killer upstairs with seats. Super friendly staff!! I’ve alway wondered what a new building designed for live shows would feel like. This is it. It’s incredible, brilliant, how they should all be.
The Sylvee is one of my favorite local venues. Small enough to be comfortable and accommodating, yet big enough to pull in some great shows. They annually host the 2-day Mad with Power Fest which always brings us in due to the fact that they have lots of great dining and hotels within close proximity so you can just park your car and explore the city by foot. The Sylvee has large, clean bathrooms, reasonably priced drinks, and great lighting and acoustics.
Staff and security were so incredible. I was there for black veil brides and one of the security guards with the brown hair tied back was such a great guy. He helped us out during an altercation with a fan and was really on top of catching fans who were crowd surfing and making sure people were safe and having a good time. The venue was also gorgeous. Cool themed bathroom and tons of options at their bar. I had such a blast and would definitely come back for more shows!
The Sylvee was awsome! Standing room for sure, I liked that the concert wasnt super packed. Parking was easy, Right across the street actually and getting in was as simple as a small line. Bathrooms were clean. It was over an hour drive for me, however id come back in a heartbeat! Bands were awsome!!!!
The Sylvee was such a great place to see a show!! It's easy to park close by, there are bars and restaurants close so you can pre-party, and the venue is cool!! There is a huge floor area that is slightly angled so even in the back you can see the stage, there are places to lean all around the outside of the floor, there is a second and a third floor as well. The second floor has reserved seating as well as places to lean, and it's own bar area. I didn't visit the third floor, but it looked like there were quite a few boxes for special seating. The sound quality was great. Overall a great venue to see a show. One note is that there aren't a lot of places to sit- so be prepared to stand.
