My fiancé and I bought their new student special and took two private lessons with Nikita. The lessons were only 2 and 3 weeks before our wedding. Nikita did a great job of teaching us three dance styles and letting us choose which one we wanted to do for our first dance. We both have very little experience dancing, and Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Madison did a great job of teaching us a realistic dance for our skill level and increasing our dancing confidence. Thank you! I would recommend their studio for anyone preparing for their first dance or even if you are just looking for a social activity. They seem to have a lot of fun events going on.

We had such a great experience with Bogdan! We took lessons in anticipation of our wedding first dance and we didn’t allow for a ton of time. I couldn’t believe how quickly and how much Bogdan was able to teach us in that short time. He was very patient, skilled, positive, professional, but still made the lessons really fun. All of the staff was so supportive and welcoming, and made it less intimidating for us as beginners.

Great experience at this studio. My fiancé and I took lessons here for our first dance. Neither of us had any experience! At the end of our lesson package we felt comfortable performing the routine we learned from Bogdan. We are thinking of coming back for more lessons because it was so much fun! The best part of wedding planning.

My husband and I started lessons over the summer of 2025 to prepare for our first dance in our January 2026 wedding. They created an amazing dance choreography just for us. I cannot tell you how great our experience here has been, the instructors treat you like friends and the lessons are comprehensive and well suited to individual skill levels. We were pushed to our potential, it is really worth every penny. Our dance at the wedding was a show stopper and I would have never imagined we could have pulled it off with less than a year of training.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. We worked with Denys to coordinate our first dance for our wedding, and he did a spectacular job. While we had done some swing dancing on our own before, Denys helped us build a strong foundation and guided us through the basics. With his help, those basics blossomed into a beautiful routine that felt uniquely ours. Despite only having a month to prepare, the dance turned out perfectly—we received so many compliments afterward and couldn't have been happier with the result. We highly recommend Fred Astaire to any brides, grooms, or anyone looking to learn how to dance. We’re excited to return and continue our dance journey with them for future date nights!
