Highly recommend! Absolutely incredible food and the service was exceptional! We felt a warm welcome from the moment we arrived by the owner James and the wonderful staff. It’s an American classic modern bistro! We ordered the grilled Bronzino with delicious side dishes. Definitely don’t skip the dessert! We loved that they offer a variety of gluten free and vegan options. We will definitely be returning soon

We’ve eaten our way around the Litchfield area for years, and West Street Grill has earned a spot among our favorites after just one visit. We stopped in on a random Thursday night with no occasion to celebrate other than loving a good meal out, and we left already planning our next trip back. The food was excellent across the board. We started with their fresh guacamole and the peasant bread they’re known for — and yes, it lives up to the reputation. From there we had the fresh cheese raviolis, a salmon and pasta dish, and salmon served over a salad that was cooked absolutely perfectly. We even made room for dessert and cappuccinos to close it out. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the upscale, smaller-portion approach is exactly our style. What really set the night apart was the hospitality. The owner, James, came by and was warm and genuinely personable, and our waitress was amazing from start to finish — attentive without ever hovering. The atmosphere is upscale casual done right: refined and a step above places like Marketplace, but more relaxed and approachable than Arethusa. If you know the Litchfield dining scene, that’s the sweet spot. Five stars, and we’ll absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a special-feeling dinner without the stuffiness, West Street Grill should be on your list.

This is our first time here and this place mixes small town charm with fine dining flare. Easily one of the best hidden gems you can find. There was such a welcoming atmosphere from the owner James, the food was perfectly portioned, the presentation is remarkable, the flavor profiles are to die for, and our server Ryan was very attentive. Thank you for such an absolutely stellar experience. This is now going to be one of my regular places to come to.

Our favorite girls lunch go-to! The food, atmosphere, staff - all so wonderful!! The vegan Caesar salad is divine, coupled with James' delicious salmon, which is a generous portion. Our server, Ryan, always makes our lunches extra special. The lively and always vivacious conversations with James makes it such a beautiful experience. This is our special place. ❤️
