Love all the awesome toys, gifts, & educational items she offers here. I only wish the prices weren't so high! I will try to shop here every few months and get the items I can. I guess loads of out of towners will keep her in the black. In this world of online shopping. It's so nice to have a beautiful local place to grab unusual items at the last minute; (party, holidays, illness, or celebrations)! Hurrah for the Silly Sprout.

Positives: cute little toy store with so much to offer and often a lot of unique choices! Helpful staff, knowledgeable and they offer to giftwrap. Negatives: Expect everything to cost you at least double what you would pay elsewhere, LEGO was way overpriced compared to Walmart, Target or even Lego.com Still insisting on masks, despite you being vaccinated or being the only customer in the store *eyeroll*

A bright and delightful local toy store! They have a nice selection of toys and books geared mostly for younger children. I've been there often and always find something to suit whatever occasion I'm shopping for. The pandemic has affected their inventory temporarily. Nevertheless, they still have a decent variety of options. The owner, and often only staff person, is helpful and friendly. She will go out of her way to assist you with any questions you may have. The prices are very reasonable as well.

On a visit to Litchfield, we stopped at The Silly Sprout to see what's new in toys. It was wonderful -- discovering toys we had not seen before. Beautiful store! We bought two craft kits for our 6-year old granddaughter, and we had a great time talking with the owner about surviving the pandemic (delivery when others stopped delivering, for example). We love the store!
