Ok, first of all and most importantly, this is NOT a four star hotel. Not sure how they away w this. That said, it’s clean and comfortable and the service is fine. The hotel is furnished very modestly - like everthing is from Home Goods. It looks nice, but it’s the knock off version. Same with the fixtures, flooring and tiles. Lots of faux stone and wood. The setting is very pleasant and convenient. Breakfast was great. It should be a three star hotel.
Beautiful inn with plenty of room for the dogs. A little pricey but what isn't in this economy. A little more transparency for room fees would be cool. Stayed 3 nights and got 3 different prices and didn't even know tgere was a price difference. Only reason for 4 stars. Other than that 5!!! We hosted our wedding at The Litchfield Inn last July. We could not be happier with our decision. Our guests still compliment us on the beauty of the inn and the luxury of getting to stay on site, all weekend long. The Inn feels like home away from home. If we had to do it all over, we would still choose the inn, time and time again. We cannot recommend enough. The staff was so accommodating and helped answer our never ending questions. We cannot recommend a stay, or a wedding at the Litchfield Inn enough.
Our stay here was nothing short of excellent! My partner and I stayed for two nights to celebrate a birthday and we were very pleased. The room was spotless (we stayed in the Garden Room), it was cozy and everything we wanted. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, airy and cozy at the same time and truly a lovely place. The staff were all kind, helpful and professional. It is centrally located to all of the main stopping points in Litchfield. They are adding a pool which will be absolutely perfect for the summer months! We will be back!!
Really lovely Inn with a delicious breakfast and comfortable bed. We stayed in the winter so we did not take advantage of any thing outdoors, though an on-property walking trail would be welcome. The breakfast/service staff were amazing! We enjoyed the snacks and beverages, comfortable gathering spaces with fireplaces, and board games everywhere. Driving distance to Litchfield and Bantam. Our room was simple but cozy. I would recommend it!
