School on the Green is a wonderful learning environment that truly prioritizes both academic growth and personal development. The teachers are beyond caring, dedicated, and attentive to each student’s needs, creating a supportive atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore and succeed. The school has a very parent co-operative approach with many opportunities to be a part of your child's education. Our graduate was more than ready to enter kindergarten, ahead of the game with school routines, independence, play-based learning and social-emotional skills. We can not thank SOTG enough for everything! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We moved to Litchfield when our daughter was 3 and were so lucky to have School on the Green recommended to us and for our daughter to get a spot in their program! For the two years she attended before graduating, this school community became a second home and family. As someone highly selective about who I leave my child with I felt so comfortable with her there. The program is state accredited so the staff and environment are all held to really high standards. The teachers are warm and loving, the environment safe and engaging, and the curriculum is a perfect balance of play and academics. We loved all the field trips, family events like the student holiday performance with Santa! and fun fundraisers. I love that alumni are welcomed at some of the fun things like the parade, pizza fundraiser and spring soiree. We miss School on the Green and couldn't be more grateful for our daughter's experience there. Highly recommend!! There truly is no better preschool program in the Litchfield area!!

Three of my children have graduated from SOTG and each has left beyond prepared for kindergarten -- both socially and academically. I truly cannot say enough good things about the teachers. They are all incredible with the kids, and create a warm, welcoming environment that is perfect for learning!

Fantastic place! Two of our children attended this school and we can’t say enough good things. This is a parent cooperative so the families are involved to the extent they can be. SOTG created a great environment for our children's first school experience. Our kids entered kindergarten ahead of the game due to the educational format and great teachers and aides. Conveniently located in Litchfield center there are families from all corners of the county. The kids get a lot of play time and go outside whenever possible, which was very important to us. There are tons of field trips and a lot of community events, all of which parents/grandparents are encouraged to attend. The fundraiser are really fun- from pizza nights, to holiday parades to parents nights. Great bang for your buck as well. Highly recommended.

I don't know 100% about what this school is now. However when I was a child it was kind of a nursery school or a pre-K school. I attended it as a child, and I do actually have some very fun memories of this place. The staff was amazing with children. There was always something fun going on, and the children learn, while they were entertained. I do believe it is still open and active. I have heard of families in the area sending their kids there. I'm sure it is top quality it's in Litchfield and they usually do a very good job there and that's school system.
