Rivers Alliance of Connecticut

Rivers Alliance of Connecticut is an association in Litchfield working as a united voice for river conservation in Connecticut. We encourage state laws, regulations, and programs that support water allocation, watershed planning, and river protection. We also advocate for better water allocation policies and compliance with Stream Flow Standards and Regulations to keep water in rivers. Our team works with members and partner organizations to restore water quality through permitting and enforcement of stormwater regulations. We champion state investment in greener water infrastructure and other programs that improve rivers. We forge diverse partnerships with environmental groups, government, industry, and academia.
