Stone grotto, walking paths, and Stations of the Cross in Litchfield
I been here several times. I highly recommend going. It is a very religious, relaxing experience. A place to renew your faith. You can bring food and enjoy a picnic with family/friends or you can buy lunch. A big gift shop with many items to purchase. There are restrooms.
This was an incredibly beautiful and contemplative space. Lovely space for quiet and peaceful reflection. Beautiful grounds and walking paths. Stations of the cross are incredibly well down but be aware: steep hill with winding path could be difficult or challenging for some visitors. We were there on hottest day of the year and there were plenty of shaded spaces for prayer and reflection. Restroom facilities available on site.
Peaceful, inspiring, beautiful grounds, wonderful Mass, lovely store, great café (with select hours and days). Highly recommend.
Beautiful grounds and stations of the cross - nice walking path and we enjoy the meditative devotional for the stations. It can be busy on holidays (we usually go on Good Friday) so it’s helpful to arrive earlier in the day before the parking lot gets really full.
Wonderful calm place. Great place for mass and meditation. All 14 stations of cross.
