Between my culinary arts degree, 3 years in fine dining, 5 years in casual fine dining, and having come here for roughly 25 years. I feel pretty qualified in saying, this place needs help.

Had the most amazing time at Da Capo. The food was amazing and the garden in the back is beautiful this time of year. But hands down the best part of my experience was the amazing waitress Cora. She was very attentive, our waters were always full, and we come to find out at the end, it was her first day!!! Love it here at Da Capo.

Had lunch with my mom here. The patio is so beautiful! Nice and shady but what a view of the flowers. Food was very good. We got the burrata raviolis that we split. The service is over the top. Not just our fantastic waitress, Amelia, who was the right balance of attentive but leaving us be to enjoy our drinks. But at the end of lunch I put my credit card in the folio and put it on the table but the pocket for the card was loose so when I set it down the card went flying out. We couldn’t find it anywhere! So I went around to the garden side to peer under the patio and sure enough I could see it. So I asked for a screwdriver and a broom with the intention of removing part of the decorative lattice under the patio and using the broom stick to shoot the card back my way. Instead, one of their awesome staff, Antonio who was the chef, handyman, and credit card retriever extraordinaire crawled under the patio on his hands and knees across the crushed stone to retrieve my card!! Totally above and beyond after an already great lunch!

This is a great place for a fantastic date night. There's beautiful patio seating available when the weather's nice. But the interior is warm and cozy. The food is phenomenal and the cocktails are amazing. I can't believe I've driven past this place and not look twice. What a great little hidden gem!

We were passing through Litchfield and a local recommended this. It seems to be mostly a fine family pizza place with other traditional Italian-American favorites. They were doing a busy takeout trade when we were there early on a Saturday evening. My fussy wife's salmon was not a very good piece of fish, and although the aioli sauce was on the side as requested, it was still dusted with black pepper. She picked around it and didn't eat much. It was served in a bowl atop an intimidating mound of beets and carrots that she immediately shoved aside. They brought some bread and butter, and there was oil on the table. The butter was three chilled dots on a small plate; they were gone in no time and it took some effort to get more. I got the Gamberi, 4 jumbo shrimp on linguine. It was good enough, way more than I needed, and I chose not to take the rest home. We opted not to waste any more time or money on the unneeded dessert calories. They could see that she hardly touched the salmon but they charged for it anyway and I had no desire to fight about it. We'll never be there again anyway.
