We went here on a Saturday night at 7pm. They didn’t take our order until 7:40pm and the food didn’t come til 8:30pm. All the food was delicious, but the service was extremely disorganized and slow. For such a reputable restaurant that was a bit disappointing. We got the hanger steak (10/10), onion tart (9/10) and the agnolotti (6/10 because it was served cold by the time we received it). The servers were all nice, but there was clearly a huge delay in the kitchen.

To the Arethusa Chef Dan Magill and you team. Thank you for a truly memorable meal. Every plate was beautiful and delicious, and the service was gracious and warm throughout. It’s clear how much care your whole team brings to the experience. Our waiters Michelle provided excellent service and detailed explanations about each plate we had, answering all our questions. 4.5/5! We’ve been coming to Arethusa al tavolo for years, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. What I love most is the consistency. We always know the food and drinks are going to be outstanding, and that kind of reliability is rare. From the moment we walk in, the staff make us feel genuinely taken care of. The complimentary bread and amuse bouche set the tone beautifully, the wine list is impressive without being overwhelming, and the dishes themselves are exactly what you want from a special night out. Flavorful, creative, and executed with real care. And the desserts are always wonderful.

Amazing dining experience, in the most humble setting. Nothing grandiose about this place. Just pure skill and craft at work. Whether it’s ice cream or a full dinner. We were thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Again, THE FOOD!!! I don’t do fine dining often, but Arethusa is the perfect example!

Reservations; yes. Expectations of an excellent meal; yes. Left at 9:30 pm the restaurant was still full. Excellent staff. Excellent food. A bit loud due to size, but still able to enjoy table conversation. Staff are truly incredible. Just the right amount of attention and friendliness without being pretentious. I was worried it would be too stuffy. Oh no, perfect! The food- spot on. Definitely worth a visit.
