I've loved this place since I was a kid. There's a variety of things to do - playing on the little playground, catching crayfish, picnicking... And we often walk from here along the river to the library. It's conveniently located and a beautiful mix of fun and history.
Pleasent park with a calm stream and nice amenities. Very relaxing.

Pond & Nature Views - The Willowbrook Lake (aka pond) is scenic—popular for fishing, bird watching, and quiet reflection. - Great for nature lovers and photographers.
The kids Loved the park. With the creek running through it. They had a blast playing in the water, didn't matter their age. Will stop again when we have time when we are in Hartford. #Greatpark #Greatmemories
Nice park with many options! Only downside is the playground is hot with full sun. Nonetheless, it is a MUST play area and right next to the Mineshaft if you want to carry on to the arcades.
