Everything has improved in the last year. Better music choices, soup, service, presentation and specials. The "Love Boat" looked good, and I would like to try the Hiabachi. The Japanese beer, was just beer, stick to the sake, it pairs much better with theme.
The service and atmosphere were excellent. The saki and crab ragoon were excellent. Then the sushi came. Spicy tuna roll in my experience is supposed to have a crunch to it and a spice to it but this one was mushy and super fishy I could not stomach it. The salmon roll and spicy crab roll were fine but the tuna roll I don’t know if it was a mistake or if that’s how they make them but I couldn’t eat it. My husband had a chicken noodle dish and he liked that . I didn’t say anything when I was there because the server was literally so nice but I wanted to share somehow because hopefully they can use the feedback to make it better because it’s the only sushi place in the area and I would like to give it another try sometime. Super cute place though and super nice staff.
Show moreFood is ok, I would say it’s like American-style Japanese food. What I feel a little bit disappointed is the 20% gratuity added automatically for a party of four, too high and not clearly disclosed.
We don’t live in town - have had takeout once but never dined in before. We were shocked that both of our children enjoyed it as they are not usually adventurous eaters. We all rated our food and experience 5/5 stars which is rare finding a place that we all enjoy! We’ll be back soon!
Show moreWe went for the first time and WOW was it delicious!!! We ordered the Color Dragon, Volcano, & Hot Maki rolls. Hands down, the best sushi we’ve had anywhere near the area! And we agreed it’s better than a couple sushi restaurants in downtown Milwaukee. The service was fantastic and friendly too! Check them out!!
