I’ve been trying and comparing Quesabirria at every establishment I visit and have concluded that the quesabirria at Garibaldi is the best! Perfect meat/ cheese ratios, soft tortillas with just the right amount of cilantro and onion, flavorful au jus, delicious black beans and rice…. Just fantastic! The strawberry margarita was not too sweet and the chips/salsa and guacamole was just outstanding. Beautiful menu with something for everyone. Highly recommended!
Update from 3/7/2026: This resturant is consistently excellent. Another wonderful dinning experience. Tried new things. Very good. See additional photos. Fajitas, burrito, and tacos. Great service. Wonderful conversation with waitress. She recognized us again. Very welcoming. Everything is made fresh. They make their own salsa's too. Ask for their hot salsa if you like very spicy salsa. Wonderful flavor and nice burn. Update from second visit on 9/29/2025: Okay, this may be my new favorite Mexican restaurant around. My husband and I rode our motorcycles there again and this time we shared because we didn't want to be super stuffed while riding motorcycles. The associates are so friendly and patient with us. The food is "off the hook". This time we ordered 1 El Pastor taco, 1 Carne Asada taco, and 1 Campechano (steak and chorizo) taco. Wow! They are all great but would highly recommend trying a Campechano taco. See photo below. I absolutely love that they serve the rice and beans on a separate plate also. Original review: We came to this restaurant on a recommendation. It did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The resturant is clean and the food was great. Chips and salsa come directly to your table. The mild salsa is automatically brought to table and is very very good. It is chunky, not runny, and great flavor. We also asked for hot salsa. It had heat but not extreme. Mashed well with the mild and hot mixed. We ordered our usual first "try" orders at any new Mexican restaurant. Street tacos. Both carne asada and el pastor. We were blow away by how flavorful both were. The carne asada was perfectly charred and seasoned. The El pastor was tender, flavorful, and sweet (the way I enjoy it). Both paired well with the hot sauce and fresh limes provided. Beans and rice served on a separate plate which is greatly appreciated. Beans can say alot and these did not disappoint.
From the moment we entered, until the time we left…it. Was. Wonderful! The decor, the friendly smiling staff, the menu with many choices and food allergic options. I real need to give a shout out to Alejandra, our FAVORITE server. She has made every one of our visits beyond superb - The kindness, attentive service and food combined? 5+++++ Stars!!! You owe it to yourself to visit. You will not be disappointed. Can’t wait til summer for their outdoor dining.
Update 2/13/26 went there for second time for lunch this time and tried the birria pizza, it was good but not as good as the birria tacos were the other day. Staff was polite and food came out fast. Great place to eat! Nice atmosphere, parking lot was full so we parked across the street. Service was fast and friendly despite it being a very busy saturday night. Food was hot and delicious and came out fast! I had a quesabirria 18.50 and it had excellent flavor and was filling, dinner friend had chicken fajita which he said was excellent also. We will both be back to eat here again in the future.
My husband and I have come here many times now, and we absolutely love it. I almost always get the same thing, the burrito pastor with extra cheese sauce and it is just the most perfect thing ever. The food is always amazing and delicious, as well as the drinks and chips and salsa. The staff is lovely as well, always super attentive. Could not recommend this place more, it's our favorite Mexican restaurant, we are from Beaver Dam and dont mind the 40 minute commute just to get food from here ❤️
