Love this new spot! It feels like your neighborhood bar, but in a good way. We went for happy hour and got a mix from that menu and the main menu. Standouts were definitely the hotdog and smash burger! The cheese curds were delicious too but came with an unexpected dipping sauce — jelly(?). We’d order everything again though. The staff were very attentive and super friendly. I also love their patio seating. While it’s right next to a busy ish road, the brick enclosure makes it feel more intimate. The only thing we missed was more small bite options that were lighter (ie not fried). Highly recommend this spot!

Opening day for the Cafe side of Upstate! 10/10 LOVE Joseph’s biscuits! -as a sandwich and with the delicious jams! 10/10 LOVE Hannah’s cold brew! So excited to have this gem in the west end for all day options as we’ve also been loving the lunch/dinner Lounge side. Thanks owner Joe for bringing this neighborhood a quality spot to hang and get good food and vibes.

We recently had a gathering on a Friday night of old friends who had the best experience at The Upstate Lounge & Cafe. The casual atmosphere was perfect for mingling and eating. The food was outstanding and it was equally matched by the outstanding service! I highly recommend this establishment for terrific food, service, and atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!

Want to like this place but the bar service was so awful on 6/9. It’s almost impressive when the service is bad/pretentious and the bar tender can also give you the ick. Hopefully they can find some people who give a shit about hospitality.

Awesome new laid back bar for Hartford/west Hartford. It's got all your favourite upstate NY food including Garbage style Plates (first outside of NY?), Wings, etc. $3 Gennys. And the atmosphere you'd expect from your old school Western New York dive bar.
