Historic Hartford restaurant with an iconic outdoor patio including Pratt Street style overhead lights after dark. The food and drink selection is very good - a bit more expensive than ideal but worth it given the location. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was a couple people went past on loud motorcycles which hurt my ears. I don’t think I can fault the restaurant for that though as it is out of their control. Aside from that it was perfect.

What a great find. Big menu doesn’t thrill me, but the food is good. The wife and I offered the chicken cutlets with the Caesar salad… man that was good. The garlic bread, the chicken and the salad really hit. I would eat that 1-2 times a week if I lived close by. Bravo….

We were a party of six grabbing dinner before a show, and the place was absolutely rocking! When we made the reservation, we were told that Sunday brunch would still be going on until 6 p.m. and that it might be loud. That was definitely the case while walking through the bar area, but once we were seated at our table we could still have a conversation without shouting. The music was provided by a DJ playing a great variety of upbeat tracks, which created a fun, energetic atmosphere—perfect for getting in the mood before heading to a show. The food was outstanding as well. Since it’s a pub/tavern, you might expect typical bar bites, appetizers, and handhelds. They certainly had those, but the menu goes far beyond standard pub fare. One person ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo with broccoli, and it was excellent. I had the Cobb salad with mixed greens and spinach—again, much better than your average bar or pub offering. Others at the table ordered handhelds, which came on high-quality bread, toasted panini-style. One friend ordered the Caprese panini and didn’t initially notice it included chicken—she was pleasantly surprised and loved it. We also started with an order of buffalo cauliflower, which was impressive. Honestly, I’m probably not doing their menu justice, so it’s worth checking out for yourself. The owner was there during our visit and spent time sharing the history of the restaurant with us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This is definitely a place we’ll be visiting again and again—there’s still a lot on the menu we want to try—especially whenever we’re in the Hartford area.

My auntie’s 60’s birthday was spent for brunch. Music was fire for us and for everyone else. A nice mix for family and ppl just there for brunch. server was ty and they were was amazing. I was definitely repeating a lot and they were patient and kind. It means a lot.

First time here. We sat at the bar and had a fun time with the bartender, Janelly, who ABSOLUTELY knew what she was doing because my Old Fashion and Bourbon Sour were excellent. We only had apps and salads so didn’t explore the full menu, but what we had was very good, particularly the wings - they were on point - crispy and flavorful. The chili, topped with a combination of cheddar cheeses was also quite good. The salad was served in an edible taco bowl and was yummy. Sliders were solid too. 😋 There was a private event taking place in most of the dining area and the DJ was really loud, plus there were some folks at the bar whose natural decibel level seemed to be 6 million (my poor watch was warning me about the loud environment 😝), but if it’s not typically that loud, we would definitely return.
