Had our wedding carrot cake from modern pastry and wow it was delicious! Chatting with them on the phone was a great experience, and they were very nice and helpful when I had no idea what I wanted for design! It looked gorgeous and all my guests said it was the best carrot cake they’ve ever had!
From the very beginning, Modern Pastry has been part of some of the most meaningful moments in my family’s life. My wife and I trusted them with our wedding cake, then our daughter’s wedding, then our son’s wedding, and countless family celebrations afterward — including events for the law firm where my wife works and so many other special occasions throughout the years. Their quality and service are exactly why we’ve remained loyal customers for so long. But this time was different. This was the first time we truly found ourselves in a stressful situation and needed help on short notice — and that’s when Lisa showed us what exceptional customer service and genuine compassion truly look like. Due to an unfortunate situation, we were suddenly left scrambling to find a cake for my grandson’s baptism celebration on the morning of his ceremony. I completely forgot to order it as I thought my daughter had already done so. What could have turned into a disaster quickly became a blessing because of Lisa. From the moment we spoke with her, she treated the situation with urgency, kindness, and complete reassurance. Without hesitation, she brainstormed and offered to help make it happen — and she absolutely delivered. Lisa went far above and beyond anything we could have expected. She truly saved the day for our family, and I honestly cannot put into words how grateful we are. In today’s world, it’s rare to come across people who genuinely care the way she does. Her professionalism, compassion, and dedication did not go unnoticed. I've been going here since a young child. My mom always took us here. It's my favorite bakery. They have fresh canolis made right there. Delicious lobster tails. They're cookies are wonderful. They make beautiful and delicious cakes.
Modern did such an amazing job on my wedding cake! It looked gorgeous and it was absolutely delicious. We got the raspberry filling and got so many compliments. Working with modern was super easy too. First photo was my inspo photo. The second photo is the cake from modern and they did such an amazing job. The flowers came from my florist and modern put them on the cake. I am so happy with how it looked and tasted. I recommend every get their cake from modern
We got our wedding cake through Modern Pastry and it was absolutely amazing! My husband and I aren’t even big cake people, but the cake they made for us was delicious! I sent over a few inspiration photos for our wedding cake, and they executed the design perfectly—it turned out even better than I imagined! The staff were so friendly, helpful, and incredibly talented, and their pricing was very competitive as well. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. Highly, highly, highly recommend Modern Pastry for any and all cake needs!
