Great, but not perfect …. If you’ve never been here before, please give it a try but I warn you, don’t get attached to anything on the menu. I went for the first time last week. I’ve been here 4 other times since then and they’ve not had the chocolate chip cheesecake bites each time but the first and that’s a bit annoying.
Stopped in earlier today for lunch and was met by friendly staff who helped through my first visit. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl with chicken and it was fantastic.
The cafe is so cute and has a great ambiance. The staff is super warm and welcoming. I grabbed a salted caramel iced latte on my way to work. The coffee is really strong (which I love), but they forgot to add the salted caramel (which I paid extra for), so it ended up being plain coffee. The note was super cute, though, thanks for that! 🫶
I enjoyed my experience here and I think this is a much needed spot in Hartford. The staff were friendly, I got an iced americano and enjoyed it and there are so many treats, it’s hard to choose one! Plenty of seating and a full lunch and breakfast menu. I just had a muffin this visit, but I’m excited to come back and try more!
Best bakery in downtown Hartford! LuAnn’s Bakery & Cafe is an absolute must-visit. Everything we tried was incredible. The energy spritzers with boba are refreshing, the cupcakes are next-level, and the cinnamon toast is pure comfort. The Mediterranean bowl was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. High-quality ingredients and great flavor across the board. Having a tree nut allergy, I really appreciate how thoughtful and accommodating they are with allergens. It makes enjoying a bakery and cafe experience so much easier and stress-free. The space is beautiful, bright, and spacious with plenty of seating. Love the grab-and-go options, freezer items, and the convenience of the self-order kiosk for quick visits. Service was smooth, friendly, and efficient. I’ve been a regular at their Stafford location, and it is excited to see them grow. You can tell there’s real care behind the brand.
