I recently attended a performance of the CT Ballet on Sat July 13th in Yonkers, NY. I am no stranger to ballet performances having enjoyed them with my husband over many years at Jacob's Pillow, the Joyce Theater etc. I was blown away by the skill and effortless beauty of the CT Ballet dancers showcasing so many different genres. Like the best professor, these were explained so eloquently by Brett Raphael who narrated the program. I learned so much and was captivated by what I saw. This was a throughly wonderful evening of ballet!

Connecticut Ballet Center offers a wonderful opportunity for children to learn in a disciplined, but exciting environment. My daughter loves the opportunity to dance on the stage with professionals and the quality of the instruction is very high. Mr. Raphael is an extremely talented teacher, choreographer and arts leader and Connecticut is fortunate to have him. Ms. Kimberly puts her heart and soul into the organization and cares deeply for the children and the arts.

The Connecticut Ballet's Nutcracker is an exquisite holiday production that involves incredibly talented professional dancers from around the world as well as local children and adults. Our daughter has loved being part of such a special holiday tradition for the last two years. I credit the outstanding staff, particularly Miss Kimberly and Mr. Raphael for inspiring her as well as so many other children to be part of such a wonderful experience that offers a structured and loving environment and magical memories to last a lifetime.

Connecticut Ballet’s Nutcracker offers children an incredible opportunity to perform in a professional capacity with guest artists who are considered some of the greatest talents in ballet in our time. My daughter has had the pleasure of dancing in their Nutcracker four times, and I attribute her love of dance to these experiences. This opportunity teaches young children the discipline that comes with professional performance, in a safe, caring and fun environment. The gorgeous choreography allows the children to shine on stage and the staff cares about the children, placing their safety as top priority. I highly recommend this experience for all children (June 2016).
