Offering Sunday services and age-appropriate Ridge Kids programs
This is a great church, with a great mission. I no longer regularly attend here (as of a year ago) but I still like tuning into services online and attending in person when I'm able to, because attending services in person is something of a distance from me now. Still, I love this community and their mission, since last year they were their for me in my time of time of need. God Bless the team @ The Ridge!
A Cigar Smoking Small Group? A Beer Garden Group? I don't believe smoking and drinking should be part of a church. This is not biblical. This church used to be good, but how far they've fallen. Wouldn't recommend.
Being in non-denoms for most of my life, I think today at Easter was my final straw going to Protestant churches much less this one. Got there 12 early, only to be told we were too late to get my 5 year old in. She was dressed up and so excited. No one in overflow seemed keen on sharing empty seats. So we left. I just can’t do these types of corporate churches anymore, because of these types of churches my faith is changing, and for the better. I’m becoming more serious in my faith, and this place isn’t serious. If you want to truly understand my meaning, I would encourage you to truly research church history. And do so outside of this style of church manipulating your research. It will open your eyes to the truth of how empty a place and narcissistic churches like this truly are.
Ps. Continue through and read many other reviews that talk about some of the things I’m saying. I’m not the only one… This is not a church- this is a business. Our very first time going- leaving very sad and heavy. The entire service (if you could call it that) was about expanding, getting more followers, pushing other friends and family to focus on putting money into the church. There was no celebration of God, no respect to thee scripture except manipulating the words of God as a way to draw money from people’s pockets. I am SO sad. I feel deep sorrow and am appalled. I grew up in a cult and have done a lot of treatment and therapy and guidance from God in the church- and this feels exactly like the cult I grew up in. This is not a safe space of the Lord.
Don't y'all know what car pooling is? Take care of the Lord's Earth by carpooling bro. I swear, y'all drive crazy in this parking lot, I've had y'all people almost crash into me because they don't pay attention in the parking lot. Edit: too many cars blocking the one way of the parking lot too 😐 y'all make it such a hassle to use planet fitness 🙄😐
