🌳✨We checked out Konkel Park a hidden gem in the heart of Greenfield, Wisconsin. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax, get active, or enjoy some community fun, this park truly has it all. This park is beautifully maintained and covers over 70 acres of space including 2 playgrounds, paved walking trails, boardwalks, fitness stations, sport fields and an outdoor amphitheater known as The AMP. One of the highlights of the park is the scenic walking path that loops around the park and crosses over Honey Creek. Perfect spot for a peaceful stroll, a morning jog, or an afternoon with the kids 🎶🛝 In the warmer months, the park has a farmers market and food truck nights that bring the park to life. There are also live concerts and movie nights 🎥 The new restoration and nature-friendly touches like fishing piers, native plantings, and wildlife habitats add a tranquil, educational aspect to your visit. This park was a fantastic spot for the family to enjoy some fresh air and stretch our legs. Plus, it's super convenient that they host a farmers market on Sundays. So, not only can you get some exercise, but you can also pick up a snack or some fresh veggies for the kids. It was definitely a win, especially on a lovely day like today.

Konkel park is bursting with activities and events there is sure to be something to entertain you! The park has many different walking paths going thru the park with some exercise equipment located along the path. There are also fun signs for children to read! The park boasts 3 large playgrounds with 2 located in the front of the park and another in the back. There are 2 baseball diamonds and it can get very, very crowded on nights when there is baseball. There is a gazebo available to rent that is perfect for a gathering of about a dozen people. There are also other buildings you can rent for your event. There are ample bathrooms located at the buildings. There are many picnic tables to stop for lunch and many benches to enjoy the scenery. There is an amphitheatre for music. This park has everything you need to have a perfect day!

First time here for the Turf Skatepark fundraiser. We were surprised to see the hiking trails, ponds and reservoirs behind the buildings, just a lovely space with lots of wild flowers, fish and cute singing toads.

Lovely little park, baseball games later in the day, park is kept clean, usually people are around so it’s lively, unless you go late at night. They have a lot of lighting once it starts to get dark as well. They’ve recently been working on it so it’ll keep progressing! There’s also farmers markets and events that go on from time to time. Definitely worth a visit.
