Before the reconstruction of Pondview Park, I had found myself taking time to enjoy the vibrant and lively scenery. Birds flying together in patterns like leaves in the fall. The new generations of baby rabbits bounding with new perspective and a long life to live. Stalks of cattails extending from the landscape where creatures would hide and create their new homes. In this moment, I pray the construction team and new environmental efforts keep in mind, this was their home before ours. Be altruistic and remember your morals as we watch forward progression occur. We may be adults but remember the beauty nature had when you were children.

Currently not a park but one giant construction site and is closed off. It looks like new development.

As of 2024, Pondview Park marks the eastern terminus of the paved Powerline Trail*, which extends westward in the corridor between Howard and Cold Spring Avenues to where it meets I-41/894/US 45. There it turns south to Cold Spring and continues west along Cold Spring to the Oak Leaf Trail. *bicycling walking running skating multi-use

Stopped by to look at the pond. Too cold to walk around. Looks like a nice little place to spend some quality time. Will need to stop back in summertime.

Small yet quiet, clean park. There is a gazebo and a picnic bench a couple of bences. Lots of birds. 🐦 Slight incline in and out otherwise nice and level. Nice smooth paths excelent for barefoot 👣 walking.
