I have driven passed Peshawar SO many times without ever realizing they were there. We were going to go to a place in Cudahy with similar cuisine for lunch, however they oddly didn't open until 1pm. So I did an internet search for the same cuisine, and someplace we have never been, and Peshawar came up. So we off we went. It is a very nice, small, dining area that is kept VERY clean. The colors are very soothing and the lights over the tables are just gorgeous. There was a large family there as well when we arrived close to opening with several children. Very well behaved, but still appeared to have a good time at their own table. Sound does not travel far as it is an L-shaped dining room with low enough ceilings to keep it contained. Very nice. So tired off open ceilings exposing duct work and pipes. The young lady who was both host and server was just wonderful. So friendly and warm. She checked on us regularly, but was never intrusive. The food is SO good. We ordered the Paneer Pakora, Garlic Naan, Malai Boti, and Chicken 65. The Pakora was very nicely crisp with a soft inside. ALL of the chicken was so tender and so deliciously spiced. The sauces were a perfect compliment, and the garlic naan was subtle but delicious. The portions were large enough for us both to have taken 1-2 meals home for later. VERY much looking forward to the leftovers!
