I think you can have either good or bad experience at this market due to being not as busy as other stores, the rotation of food items may be slower meaning the quality of food may not be as fresh as other stores. I've found fruits that were ... questionable. Some of their snacks and sauces seemed to be gathering dusts. Maybe they don't have enough employees but if they were to have inspections from health department, i don't think they will score A. Upside would be items being fairly priced, friendly staff, and they carry items that you won't find in many stores. And some Asian stores are lot dirtier than this one so i would rate 3 out of 5

Better than Panasia. The store has everything I need. They added a bread section near the produce, lots of varieties of ube bread, i try to buy a different bread every time I shop there. Huge varieties of vegetables. Varieties of beef, beef bones, pork, fish, shimp with good price range. I love to go there every week!

I had a very disappointing experience at Pacific Produce. The store felt outdated, dingy, and not well maintained overall. Cleanliness was a major issue - parts of the store looked dirty, and there were unpleasant odors in certain areas. I also noticed multiple items on the shelves that appeared old or expired, which is concerning when you’re buying food. Based on other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. The selection was also underwhelming. While the store is supposed to specialize in international items, the actual variety felt inconsistent, and many things either looked stale or weren’t stocked well. The produce section in particular did not look fresh, and the meat selection was especially concerning in terms of quality and poor availability. Overall, the store feels rundown and poorly managed. There’s potential here, but in its current state, it’s hard to recommend given the concerns about cleanliness, freshness, and overall upkeep. Hopefully they make improvements, because right now it’s not a place I’d feel comfortable shopping at again.

*UPDATE* Bring your own bags or you will be charged. It was only 10 cents each but if you have reusable bags, no need to waste the plastic. ALSO, the checkout process could have been a bit friendlier. Seemed like we were causing the checkout staff (at least one for sure!) to have a horrible day. Not sure why the attitude or the crushing chips in the bottom of the bag reaction. We actually said nothing other than, "Yes, we would like a bag." - Still a very cool store with a lot of options! Incredible selection of products. Produce and seafood that you won't find in very many places. This store is worth a drive to check it out. You will definitely find something you need, want to try or are curious about! Buy all three and enjoy!

I haven't been here in a while because it was pretty gross the last time I went. But it really is a convenient location, so I came to pick up a shelf item. I was pleasantly surprised that they had made some improvements to their refrigerator/freezer sections! First, the freezers on the last row were closed off and no longer accessible (thank goodness! mold growing inside freezers is just wrong). Most of their refrigerator section in the back corner was replaced with fridges with doors, so it looks more hygienic. And I did not see any freezers or fridges with cracks. On a Saturday visit, I would have expected a more fresh selection of produce. They weren't as good as I'd expect from most stores, but since I had like 0 expectation at this store (per my previous visits), I was pleasantly surprised at the produce quality. So much so that I actually picked up two items from them. Since their opening, I've seen this place's ups and downs. originally they even had food vendors on the side. it's too bad they're all gone now. I have only seen more and more deterioration since those vendors left, until this past week. It was great seeing a change for the better. I hope this is a sign that the store will continue to get better and there will be a better turn around on their products so things will be even fresher. There is so much potential here for the sheer size of the location. I look forward to it!
